Signature Gathering – 10/3-10/4 Weekend Report

Almost there! The Zaja campaign has surpassed the minimum number of notarized signature sheets required, and we will continue gathering during this week and next weekend so we can have a good amount and quality of sheets to choose from, in order to submit the maximum. And of course, we will continue gathering for our partner campaigns as long as our help is needed.
Last Sunday, Trudy, Debbie and I walked a now-familiar precinct in the southwest corner of Streamwood, filled with townhomes and some new construction. The weather was beautiful, and I had the good luck of reaching several “two-for-one” homes where both Mr. and Mrs. were present.
It strikes me how all the work we’ve done over the last four years has helped prepare us for this moment: canvassing, signature-gathering, volunteer recruitment, blogging, all of it. May the tide continue to carry us forward.
